The option is being replaced on the service's website with plans that
start at $50 per month, a Google Fiber spokesman confirmed to Re/code.
Users can still sign up for the plan until May 19.
People who signed up will continue to get their free internet as
offered by google, its only for new customers after the 19th - so
they've even given the people of KC time to sign up after announcing
it! I for one can wait for google fiber to come here in Phoenix! sign me
up today!
After May 19th you can no longer sign up for free 5 mb/s Google Fiber (your already-existing contract is still valid).
